Hello Friend, it’s been awhile. What’s new?!
Wow! To say what a year this has been is a complete understatement. Imagine on New Year’s Eve 2020 you bet the year would play out as it has. The odds would probably award you with being able to purchase your own private island, somewhere tropical, where shoes are not required.
If there is anything that I have learnt through the entire ordeal of 2020 is that plans can and will change. Certainly, I thought the joke was on me. Who in their right mind would completely uproot their career to start a brand new journey to only have the world shut down literally within weeks of getting going. Believe me, there have been a few tears over a good Cabernet.
In the end, it will be ok. The sun still shines each day. White sand beaches still exist. Beer will always be cold. Edmund Hillary said “People do not decide to become extraordinary. They decide to accomplish extraordinary things“. 2021 is going to bring the best out in all of us.
For now, take care my friend. If I can help you in anyway, I am only a phone call or text message away. Sometimes just meeting for a morning coffee or afternoon spirit can make the day that much better.
